So lots of PermaBanned usernames are taken, why not when someone gets Perma Banned, there username automatically changes to their User ID.
Like, if i were to get banned, instead of "Haters Ganna Hate" will appear, my username will be changed to "546157" since my user ID is:
https://hackforums.net/member.php?action...uid=546157
What do you think?
Good idea, but however you're posting in the wrong section. I support this idea though.
I do not think it is a good idea, the username is owned by the PermaBanned

He cant go back to the forum, hes gone, why not make it available for more useful members?
I believe this a good idea, I also think we should do the same to members who have been inactive for a year they should be deleted so another user can have there username.

I recommend you to read HF Documentantion as your suggestion could be contained there.
Account Profiles and Pruning
OP, that would be a great idea.
Anything lost, can be found again except for time wasted.
A vision without action is merely a dream. Action is the grind, it's the hustle, it's the persistance.

The username would be better since people remember others only by their Username and not by their UID.
If you are talking about using their user names as yours then this change of user name would lead to confusion among other users.
This is a really good idea dude, too bad I can't vote. But maybe the name changes to their IP adress or smt? That way if they want to register again they will get banned :).
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
This is really bad idea. People would confuse banned people a lot and it would be just a huge mess.

Brilliant idea! One problem, what happens if the member gets unbanned by the admin?
because it'll bring cases of stolen identities into the mix

Lets take a small example, If a permanently banned username is stripped off and another user uses it up and if the previous user happens to be a scammer and you happen to use his name then what would you think would happen?
Clearly, It is known that not many are permanently banned and if people are banned then it is only for a serious crime that they had committed and to choose their username would be a serious burden on the other user.

If the user is perma banned im saying. Like if hes ganna get unbanned at a certain date, then it will wont be in affect.
As for the name changing, it should affect the less popular users that dont have much on.
I disagree with this suggestion simply because it will create a lot more problems than it's worth. As stated before, there is always the problem of identity confusion, etc... Also, what happens if the permanently banned user becomes unbanned? A classic example is the user HakkuR. He was permanently banned, but then he was unbanned. Should he lose his username just for that? I think not.

As Nick Jonathan said, HackForums already prunes/deletes members who have been inactive for 'X' amount of time.
