I have recieved my down-payment and after some heavy negotiations the site is sold. There are still some details we are working on because the new owner wants me to stay involved as the site admin but we are working out compensation details.

At this time I can give no information about who the buyer is but their intentions are to keep the site as-is and to offer new things for him to monetize.

The exact sale amount will not be disclosed. I am not a rich man because of it but it's a reasonable enough sum that I am not unhappy.

One great possibility is that the servers will not be managed by me at all but I can maintain my site admin position and help guide this community and be paid a salary.

This is great news for the community imho as it ensures it's future. I actually did not take the highest offer. I took the offer from the buyer that imho had the best future ideas and intentions for the site.

More news will come out as the next week or two passes. But I have my deposit and we have agreed on initial terms of site sale.
