DarkComet "Error: Invalid IP. Invalid IP submitted is improperly formated"

so i have been reading tutorial after tutorial trying to get my darkcomet 4.0 set up and i am having alot of issues.
i cant seem to even get a start cause when i am on the "No-IP updater" tab, i cant seem to update the DNS properly. i get an invalid ip error:

"Error: Invalid IP. Invalid IP submitted is improperly formated, is a private LAN RFC 1918 address, or an abuse blacklisted address."

i think its because in the current IP address part, it adds a 0 to the end of my ip address, which is an invalid ip.
i have no idea whats causing this error. ive forwarded my ports properly and turned off all firewalls and such. can anyone share some insight??
Any help is much appreciated
Try using the no-ip DUC
I think thats Dynamic Updater Client
but I might be wrong
i have it running already
does that mean i can skip the noip section on darkcomet?
make sure you have duc and also make sure that you have a valid no-ip host and don't forget to portforward
I'm pretty sure I've done all those things correctly. I have duc running while I try the no-ip tab. I have my port forwarded. And I have added a host from no-ip the the way that tutorials suggest.
Is there anything I hav to set up on duc other than selecting my host?
your darcomet is working fine just ignore that error
and in ip/dns make sure you enter yourhost.no-ip.org
and voala
send file to victim and you done it
PM me and i'll try to set you up in no time.

TO ALL ABOVE...the problem is the no-ip updater that is inbult darkcomet.Just disable that and use only DUC to update your no-ip host.Problem solved.
