[X...Nightmare...X]

Hello hackforums and linux users. I have been trying to install ubuntu 11.10 on my macbook. What happens is i hold alt and the cd ejects. I installed rEFIT and the cd still ejects and i end up with a no bootable disk found error next time i boot. I attempted to partition my disk but it gives me an error about unable to partition disks some files cannot be moved... i have 53GB of free space
