PayPal Balance Checker

Okay, so I was bored and I needed this to check my balance for paypal periodically and see if I got a payment or not.

Here's what it does:

Every 2 minutes, it refreshes and checks your balance, and displays it in a notifyicon.

It can be much better, this is just something basic for me, not like I need it to be super fast, with webrequests or anything. Yes, it uses a webbrowser.

There are no binaries, so I can't be bothered to scan it.

Like I said before, if it doesn't work for you, it's because I made it to work for me. It might be because your paypal isn't american, or something like that. You can try and fix it for yourself if it doesn't work, but to be honest I doubt anyone will even use this.

Here's the source (no binaries):

C# (Now updated, shows who sent you the latest payment) - http://uppit.com/017sm3d3abyl/Paypal.rar
VB - http://uppit.com/aeyukfo4jlip/PayPal_VB.rar

Credits: UbbeLoL for his GetBetween function.
Not super useful, but have to admit its unique, and above all else, thats what this section needs.
Er, it's with WebBrowser :/
But thanks for sharing !
Thank you for this nice share, I'll be sure to use this when I trade in the future.
I'm rewriting it to use WebRequests with the help of someone else who's teaching me WebRequests right now. 🙂

Who might that be? I'd be keen to learn.

Well I didn't say the persons name, because I didn't want him to get bombarded with messages because of me. Send me a PM and I'll tell you.

There's no binaries in it. It's a source, if you can't read the source, then that's your problem.

I read the little code there was in the source and it was completely clean.
This is kind of like my PayPalX application except with webbrowsers?

Except less functional, yeah. I'm not gonna lie, me making this was a combination of an idea of mine, and me remembering seeing a thread about PaypalX a long time ago.

Yes, please. :3

The person who was teaching me before I fell asleep, won't answer now.
I'm wondering if the login request is complicated for PayPal. I'd assume they send so much shit out that it would just be a hassle.

But then again, I've never sniffed the requests yet. Might check them out and see if its easy or not to get the login cookie and nav the site around a bit, would be nice for a personal project.

Nice idea regardless.
