How can I download torrents safely?

I've heard about all this ACTA stuff, and I ALWAYS used to download movies and TV shows. being that btjunkie.org shut down, and that people are saying they are getting warning messages from their internet provider, do I have to worry or do I have to hide my IP etc, and how can I do that? :) thank you.
Theres no problems for now,so you can normally download torrents i don't think so that this shits will pass anyway.
Another HF oldfag..
You are fine download as you usually would, If you really want to be safe download through a VPN.
You can download free VPN's but I recommend buying one from this forum.
I go behind a vpn and peerblock...

All they see is the IP so vpn is fine and you are safe.
Alright thanks guys ;P Don't have to worry for now
Use a VPN mate and always download torrents from trusty members.
DOnt use free VPNs
they are logging for sure so it would be useless to use it

you should get one from here in the forum
personally im using nVpn and im happy with it
Buy a cheap VPS with ~20GB space and install torrentflux. You can torrent to your server then get a direct download link from it.

VPN is fine if you get one that does not log.
I'm unsure if this is still safe but I feel a lot more secure using this method.

I've bought a VPS hosted within the Netherlands, an offshore country, I'm currently using it as a Seed-box to download .torrent files and then I can use it to directly download from. As well as boosting my Internet speeds by an incredible amount, my personal IP isn't shown when I'm downloading the torrents. I'm pretty sure the copyright rules, if they have any at all, are a lot different within the Netherlands too.
I been using hotspot shield with utorrent for over a year now and I am fine.
OP, that's like asking, "how can I rob a bank safely"...there's always some risk involved. All else fail use proxies and a sandboxie browser when downloading.
Just download proXPN and you internet company will never find out if you've been on the pirate bay :)
use a no-logging vpn service. they arent to expensive.
Here read this

This teaches you about Anti-P2P organization IPs.

I also suggest getting a VPN or using a proxy
