I went into a partnership with a member of HF that isn't holding up his end of the deal.
I don't want our customers to tarnish MY reputation here on HF as I am an honest member and will refund MY share of their money but I don't want to initiate refunds until I get some ideas on the best way to approach this problem. I'm about to close our sales thread but want to post an apology and the way I will try to handle the situation in THEIR best interest.
Now don't give me the speech about how I should have done my homework about the member before starting a partnership but during the first days of us working together he was legit and provided everything as promised and met my expectations. I'm a very professional member here on HF and want my customers happy. His lack of service has left me no choice but to stop all future sales and attempt to give our customers a 100% refund. (even though our sales thread states we will NEVER issue refunds) I can't walk away from this unscathed but am looking for help in trying to keep the confidence in the HF community I have built.
I have ask him for refunds on all the transactions but don't hold high confidence in him doing so. My share was initially only 20% of sales and after the first few transactions I went up to 40% as I was handling all the sales while he did the actual handling of customers files. Due to my low share percentage I don't have all of our customers money and can't issue full refunds until he sends his share back to me.
So, what should I do?
And for future reference I will not be going into a partnership with ANYONE from now on since I can't seem to find trustworthy, members that are as professional as me. All my future sales will be thru me ONLY.
Here is my final post to the sales thread before I closed it:

I will be upfront and honest about this situation. I was working with a business partner that I found here on HF and we were splitting the profits of this service. His task was to do the actual file spreading (he claims he did but no customers received installs) and I was to handle the sales (handle PM's, receive payments and updates to customers, which I did 100%). I will be refunding all customer's soon. Let me state that I was taking a 20% share at first and then when sales got going I went to 40%. With that said I currently don't have 100% of the funds to be refunded to our customers in my Paypal account. Please be patient as I try to make enough money to refund our customers. I will be refunding in the order of the sales, so if you were the first customer, you will be refunded first. I have PMed and Skyped my partner but am not anticipating that he responds nor that he'll actually refund his portion of shares back to me. I say this because I will personally be refunding the customers of File Propagation from MY OWN PERSONAL MONEY! I am losing out on this whole thing because I've sent his share to him and probably won't get any of it back. I've learned my lesson not to trust ANYONE online, especially when it comes to money. Please take this into consideration before -repping me or opening a deal dispute. My friend who was handling the uploading of your files hasn't been signing in and therefore I can't get updates from him on the file(s) status. I will be closing this thread after this post. All customers please PM me and we can discuss in more detail. Again, I am very professional and want to publicly apologize for the lack of service as promised. The original post states that we would never, under any circumstances issue refunds, but I can't afford to lose my reputation here nor feel comfortable basically stealing money from good members of HF. I would also like to state that in the future I will not be working with anyone else on sales. I will ONLY provide MY OWN service 100% without ANYONE else's input, what-so-ever, in the future. I'm a legit member that has been scammed by another member of HF in a partnership and hope that I can maintain the trust my customers and the HF community has instilled in me thus far. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. I have emptied my PM box (other than PMs relative to this service in case I need them to go after my partner for $) so I am open for PMs from my customers.
I am truly sorry about this situation.
