Star Driver is a Mecha, Action, 25 episode anime, that aired fall of 2010 to spring of 2011.

This was the first Mecha anime that I have ever watched, and to tell you the truth, I enjoyed the hell out of it. It takes place on an island,
of which a High School has been built on. underneath the school, are huge robots called Cybodies. The Cybodies can only operate during
"Zero-Time", which is when time stops, and only people who can operate Cybodies can move about freely, but only within the realm of Zero-Time. Zero-Time
is maintained by the four Shrine maidens of the island, North, East, South, and West. If the seals of the Shrine Maidens were to be
nullified, the realm of Zero-Time will be shattered, and the Cybodies will be able to roam the earth freely.

Animation here was great, as are most. Smooth and flowing, looking characteristic to normal physics, etc. The only thing that got annoying
was when one of the Cybodies entered. It was the same animation every time.

This anime had a pretty wide range of characters. Although there were more than average, they still each had
their own, individual personality. Also, even though there were more characters, they all learned, and changed in ways
to make them a different person, yet staying within their own character.

My personal Recommendations would be FLCL, Gundam, and Code Geass. MyAnimeList recommendations.
