Sup AA, time for our weekly poll, this time it's about your favorite genre!

Last week's poll results: DFC vs Oppai.

So the flat chested cuties won out with a pretty big lead against those big bad boobies 😝

Here is a little gallery in recognition of their achievement in the AA community:

This week's poll: Your favorite anime genre!

So a pretty straightforward poll this week, what genre do you enjoy the most?

First off, Action/Adventue: Action/Adventure anime usually consists of lots of battles, travel/exploration and well....action! Titles include: Black Lagoon, Claymore, Darker than Black, Fairy tale, Hellsing, Naruto and Soul Eater.

Second is Comedy: Comedy animes are all about the lulz, focusing mainly on placing the characters in hilarious predicaments and situations reslulting in humorous outcomes. Titles include: Only ones I can think of right now are FLCL and Gintama 😊

Next is Drama/Romance: Drama/Romance Includes animes where there is a love interest between two or more characters which the story revolves around. Drama also includes anime which focuses more on emotions and feelings rather than action. Titles include: Air, Clannad, Chobits, Da Capo, Mashiro-iro Symphony, Love Hina and Toradora!

Continuing on with Ecchi/Harem: Ecchi/Harem is all about eroticism. Placing characters into erotic situations bordering hentai and showing a lot of anime skin. Titles include: Zero no Tsukaima (one of my favs), High School of the Dead (face it, more ecchi than action 😝), Queen's Blade, Kanokon and To Love-ru.

Next up is Psychological Thriller/Horror: This genre of anime plays with your mind by constructing intricate story lines, complex characters, plot twists and mind numbing problems. Horror is much the same except with a little more blood ^^ Titles include: Steins;Gate, Higurashi, Death Note, Hell Girl, Code Geass and Monster.

Last but not least is Slice of Life: SoL anime takes watchers into the day to day lives of our anime comrades. These animes normally focus around the school life of high schoolers/middle schoolers and the problems/situations they find themselves in. Titles include: Lucky Star, Haruhi, Inu x Boku SS (supernatural SoL), Azumamga Daioh and Hayate no Gotoku.

Winner of this poll will receive a gallery and a personal review of anime contained within the genre.

Please try to keep it simple guys, this poll is about your most favorite or preferred genre, try not to be incredibly specific with your choice or with the animes I have listed in relation to the genre I have placed them in. This is not a debate thread so please don't start any debates ^^

May your favorite win!

This week's poll topic provided by Tasemu. Have a topic in mind? PM me!

[Angel Beats!]

FIRST VOTE. Drama/Romance ftw. Clannad, Angel Beats, Kanon, Anohana...
There are many more but yeah, let's all pick the obvious choice, and if action wins I swear I am going to eat one of my fingers off.

[Ui Hirasawa]

Multiple choice would be good, but I voted for Slice of Life, I enjoy them.

[Rakshasa]

Yeah, hard to choose D:
I went with horror/psychological though, since they're the ones I watch the least of and I usually enjoy every one of them.

[Black Hole]

I thought about multiple choice, but this is more about your absolute favorite. Can't make a choice? Pick your favorite anime instead.

[DoubleRainbow]

Psych/Horror for sure. Love the characters that have layers and are hard to figure out. Also blood is cool.

[Marshmellow]

Slice of Life master race.
A lot of these genres collide though. Especially romance, slice of life, and comedy.

[Twisted.]

Couldn't really decide between drama/romance and slice of life. :x

Both are up there on my list.

[Ice Queen]

Fairy Tail. It is written as Fairy Tail, not Fairy Tale. Sorry for being a dick about that.

I enjoy slice of life the most

[Gambeezy]

I think Zero No Tsukaima is more action-adventure.

When I think Ecchi, I think B Gata H Kei.

[Senior Sherlock]

I picked Slice Of Life, not that I care much for regular SoLs my favorite genre lies within school life whether it be violent and unrealistic or a tragically realistic story...

[Skuxta]

Action and Adventure for me, pretty much all my favourite anime's are either action or adventure.

[[AF] Youssef]

Romance I guess. But the straightforward one not the round-a-bout one.
Thats why I like Yaoi they go straight to the subject at hand.

[Black Hole]

I think Zero No Tsukaima is more action-adventure.

When I think Ecchi, I think B Gata H Kei.

Said not to debate my classifications, if you don't agree, just vote how you think.

However, I am gonna have to strongly disagree with you on this. Saito touches, falls on, imagines or sees one of the various female characters breast every episode. Louise has been in a maid outfit and a neko outfit. It is definitely an ecchi harem before it is even a drama, much less an action adventure (not saying it isn't one).

[RhymeSayers]

I need more post before i can vote :P but i like action adventure
