U-Torrent
Hello HF, Today I will teaching you about torrents and how to download them. I do want to note right out of the bat that this is for educational purposes only. I will not be responible for your actions after you read this tut. Thank you :)
So lets begin. A "torrent" is a almost like a shadow of a real file, and order too keep the torrent alive, you need to have people seeding (We will get into that later. The method of downloading is not your normal type of download. Since downloads do not come in as one
big chunk, you are able to download from many people at once, increasing your download speeds. There may be
100 "pieces" to a file, or 20,000+ pieces, all depending on what you're downloading. The speed of the download matters all to the amount of seeders. Lets get into that.
A "seeder" is contirubiting to a torrent when it downloads it by sharing internet almost. When you only "seed" is at the end of the download of the torrent. You are somewhat sharing the whole time though.
Now, how to download a torrent. First you need a torrent client. I reccomend U-Torrent for its really light-weight while bit-torrent (a other client) is more sloppy. Just Google Utorrent and your sure to find it :)
To actually download a torrent you must find a torrent file. Now here comes the illegal part. Most torrent files are distriubing "illegal" content, such as free music, movies, tv shows, ectra. How ever there obviously can be torrents that aren't illegal. If your looking for the illegal from of torrents then I wont give it to you damn evil person! cough its thepiratesbay.se Cough Hahaha, just kidding ;) You can also get illegal torrents from alot of other places.
All it takes to download a torrent file is a click of a button. Once you have a client than you just find a torrent of your choosing and click "get torrent" or something familiar. I only say that because I dont know what website your on. If it says "get magnet" that is the same thing as a torrent but a little bit different.
