Hello HackForums,
Here is a tutorial on making a simple form like this:

Here goes:

Design

1) Open Visual Basic 2008>Create Project>Windows Form Application
Name it: Custom theme.

2) Set the properties of Form1 to this:
BackColor - Black
FormBorderstyle - None
Opacity - 97%
StartPosition - Center

3) Add two Picture boxes and add these pictures to each of them:
PictureBox1 -

PictureBox2 -
[img]http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/2086/closeyg.jpg[/img]

Imports System.Drawing.Drawing2D

1) Double Click PictureBox1 and add the following code:

WindowState = FormWindowState.Minimized

This minimizes the form.

2)Double Click PictureBox2 and add the folloing code:

Me.Close()

This closes the form.

3)Below the code you just added, write this:

Dim rec As Rectangle = New Rectangle(0, 0, Me.Width, Me.Height)
Dim myBrush As Brush = New Drawing.Drawing2D.LinearGradientBrush(rec, Color.Black, Color.Navy, Drawing.Drawing2D.LinearGradientMode.BackwardDiagonal)
e.Graphics.FillRectangle(myBrush, rec)
End Sub
