When you hack into a site, And let's say you deface it. How will the person (The victim) know the ip adress of your machine? Is it just a simple plugin in the site or does the server that the website is on capture your ip when you visit the website?

When someone connects to the site, there is a file within the server that captures that IP.
When you connect via the admin panel, your IP will be logged and they can use that to track you.
Before you leave the site, clear the your IP from the log.

So if the person don't have a ip grabbing feature in the admin panel, Then it's Impossible to track you?
