Ok: go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Contents and Settings [WARNING: PERFORM A BACKUP from ITUNES BEFORE].
Once you have resetted the iDevice try to open Absinthe 2.0.1 and re do all the process.
Let me know.

Many many users [me too] had problems with 2.0 version, so 2.0.1 was released to fix the problems. That's all.

When I try to jailbreak it gets to starting jailbreak, the backup icon on my iDevice goes away, and it says took to long to connect to (something cant remember), then it says repairing. I can use it still, it just wont jailbreak?

Yes, upgrade to iOS 5.1.1 and then do the jailbreak: remember to save your SHSH with The Firmware Umbrella.
Feel free to contact me for any help on iOS.

I think restoring through iTunes is still better.
