Recently, I've been seeing a lot of threads where people are asking how to do the verification for posting ads in US section of Craigslist. Numbers on sites like pinger, etc don't work there as CL has banned them. You need to use a real US number.

This method basically uses simple e-whoring to get you to verify it:

1. Get your CL ad all ready for posting and you should be on the section where it asks for your number.
2. Goto chat-avenue's adult chat/teen chat section and post as a girl that you're looking for free phone sex with US guys only.
3. Some guys will PM you. Talk to 2-3 guys at the same time as some guys may not give you the code.
4. Tell them that you're gonna call them but they'll have to first tell you a code that you're gonna send them so that you can verify that they're the right guy. If they ask why, tell them that earlier some guys had given you the wrong no, and you don't wanna do the same mistake again.
5. They should now give you their no. Enter it in Craigslist. Use the text option. CL will send them a code. It gets delivered almost instantly.
6. Ask them for the code. Most guys will tell you the code.

I agree the concept is same but I think mines more detailed. Didn't know about that thread though.

Yeah, I know. This method has been discussed here before and like I stated in the thread, many threads were being created in the last 2-3 days asking the same thing.
I am not claiming credit either and I know most experienced members here would know about this method.
I just want to help the new guys out.

I could submit ads without any verification even tho I live in Croatia. However not a single man has responded to my ad via email. Craiglist seems just too saturated for me, I found a way better, unsaturated site :P
