Hey everyone. I think I must have been the victim of a trojan/worm/spider of some sort. I did a random search for my mobile phone number on google and found that not only had my mobile number been posted on a "mail pass" thread on this site, but it also had my name, full address, email and password (although the password wasnt for that mail account, luckily). Now my question is this:

1). How would somebody have been able to find this info?
I'm guessing that the information was either captured from the air (I use wireless) or I had some sort of keylogger on my system/trojan or put my details into a phoney site (n00b error I know!). Its odd that it has a password from ONE of my email accounts but not the one that is posted along with all my other info, so somehow its captured the information at 2 different intervals and pieced it together (as I wouldnt use the password with that email they would have been inputted at different times...)

2). Can I get this post removed? The user is now banned (for some reason) but the post still exists and is searchable in google, eventhough you have to be a member of this site to view posts, somehow google can still access it). It has been on here for nearly 3 years now so I can only imagine how many people over the world have had access to my home address just by searching my email or phone number...

This might explain why I've been getting so much spam over the past 3 years! I've tried PMing admin about the issue to get the post removed but as I'm new here I need 10 posts to PM and so far using the "contact us" link hasnt given me a reply.

1. You might have entered your info on an ad scraper's site at one point and that's how this kid got your info.

2. I've PM'd a staff member to physically remove the post and to remove the post from Google searches, go here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals

Then, put in a removal request and within 7 days, the post won't show up on Google's searches.

Thanks guys, youve been a real help. Now, bearing in mind this guy has been banned from the site is there anyway on getting any old info about him that might still be lying around the forum other then username? I want to trace this SOB and teach him a lesson, lol ;).
