Lets say someone hacked your facebook recently or posted comments on there and you do not know who did it. There is a simple way of finding out who did it and how to catch them.
After logging in facebook, next to the home button you will see a drop down

Click privacy settings and go to the security tab.
Under the security tab

click the edit button under active sessions and it will list all ips and locations that has recently loged in your facebook

LOL 🤣
Pretty sure you can just use the "Forgot Password" to get back your facebook though.
This only works if someone logs in your facebook the same time as you and starts messing with your account, or if you get your facebook back by answering your security question or sending 3 friends codes, etc. This is also useful to see if anyone is spying on you through facebook.

I think that everyone uses VPN or proxy so it really won't help, and what do you do with ip you can't track it down by your self.
This is a good tutorial, thank you for making it. HQ.

No problem, I didn't see any other tutorials explaining this and a lot of people say they are hacked bla bla bla. This is one sure way to find out who did it.
kristo199 , not everyone uses a vpn. And people who know your passwords might get bored and check your facebook without you knowing. This way you have completely control and can moniter whose going in and out of your facebook.

It just shows the city & IP from where they logged in right ?
You might probably have hundreds of friends from that city (Well that was in my case though )
So that just makes it easier to zero-in on your attacker, you cant directly guess the hacker by this method.
What if he used a Proxy / VPN?
And yeah it doesn't have to be someone who you know, It could be a stranger. Then you can't do anything with the IP.

on a vpn/proxie you should be good.
And even if the had your ip. They probably don't care about it anyway. Maybe when you log in to an account of some public figure and fuck with them.
Thanks for this tutorial.. Lolz.. Someone has logged into my account from a different.. Password changed.. Thanks a ton..

Even if a friend did it and you have a possible hacking, there is a possibility you can call up their isp and find out more info on them or report it to your isp. Assuming they loged in your facebook by ratting you. This could turn the tables if they forgot to leave a vpn on.

Another way to see the hackers IP, is from when they change your password on your Facebook account, they send you a email that bla bla your password has been changed etc. And they will include a IP where it was done by.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER

No, sir, you can't just call an ISP and ask information about an IP. Get your facts straight.
And this is pretty basic feature offered by FB. It could be easily bypassed by logging through Mobile since it does not show mobile logins. No way of figuring out who hacked your profile, just IPs.
