I only suggest this because of how annoying it is to open up a spoiler for a picture and the browser just blows up because the picture is so large

That's why people use spoilers because of large images...if you don't want to suffer from your browser exploding due to a large image then don't open it.

It's a good suggestion but you'll possibly something similar to the reply I said above.

I've always seen this as a necessity for forums, but all forum administrators have their opinion.
It will never happen, been requested alot. It sucks so many good ideas get denied.

They can always resize it using the built-in mybb resize code or just hide it with spoilers.

I think I made a userscript that set's a maximum size for images on HF.
I think I'm going to make it from scratch though, just so it's nice and neat.
