What does the News team do?
The News team is an entirely separate group from the Wiki team, we focus on the writing of the Hack Forums News. We are a chill group that enjoys the high life and has relaxed conversation. There are no post requirements, activity requirements or "high quality" projects. Your only requirements are that you post your article, on time, with your best work in it. Otherwise, you are free to wear the userbar proudly and know that thousands are enjoying your hard earned work. The leader, Sir, is always open for ideas and understanding, most of the time.

Have you ever worked on a News team before? Yes, I have been a part of two news teams in high school journalism. Both classes were based around finding news for the school and local area, interviewing and writing the paper. I was an interviewer and a writer. My teacher was a real journalist and worked for several newspapers according to what she told us.
Are you aware that if you are late, you will be kicked with no remorse? Sounds good to me, wouldn't want the news being delivered late.

(Music) Please explain what you could do with this position: I could review music that just came out, write about what the top music is and write about the popular music on Hack Forums. Perhaps mention some people that make their own music if I find it newsworthy. I made a review of the top charting songs this week yesterday.
(Headlines) Please explain what you could do with this position: I would search for the most important news on Hack Forums, such as in the news suggestions thread and write about what I believe is headline worthy. It would of course have to be something important, such as site changes. I would work with my team, and you of course in finding out more about what I should consider a headline worthy topic so I can fit in the news team properly.
Why do you deserve the position you are applying for? I deserve the position because writing is my passion. I love writing, and I have wanted to join the news team since I first read the Hack Forums news almost two years ago. While I don't always post in the news threads, I do read them. I also notice that you need people who will be on time from last weeks article. I deserve to be a news writer because I will deliver the news on time. I will take this job very seriously, as it would be an honor to do the news.
On what level would you say your grammar is? My grammar is good enough for me to pass all English classes and history classes with an A in college. Both require very well written essays, and when something is not written right, points will be taken off. Since I received an A, I had very little deductions for grammar, if any.

Anything from top songs, to the drama between the musical performers, to new bands, to failing bands, and almost anything music related. I know a lot of people where music is their life, as myself (not as crazy as they are though). I hear about all this stuff in real life %99 of the time before its even out in the hackforums news.
(Headlines) Please explain what you could do with this position: I am very big into hackforums updates. I almost stalk Omnis twitter and threads to see the newest updates. I dont leech to him, I simply like to see the improvements he adds. I usually see his threads withing the first few hours of him posting them. I am huge into updates, and could write detailed articles on the new things he adds. I feel I could write noteworthy articles on the newest things he has added, or even plans to add. I am big into looking at the latest news/updates, how could I not be able to write (what I feel) a worthy article.
Why do you deserve the position you are applying for? I am very active in the hackorums community. I really enjoy looking around. posting, sharing knowledge, meeting new friends, and overall hanging out. I am on hackforums everyday just trying to help out and have some fun. I do enjoy writing and doing all my work while I have hackforums open. I feel I deserve this because I am very active, and enjoy hackforums a lot more than any other online community.
On what level would you say your grammar is? I would say my grammar level is around 8.7/10. Sometimes I will miss a comma, or forget to add some parenthesis, but all that can be easily fixed.

(Music) Please explain what you could do with this position: I am extremely, musically inclined and just have an ear for all types of music ever since I was younger. I'm always following new artists, new mixes, and downloading music every day. It's a passion of mine that I've had since I was 4 years old and will continue loving music until the day I die. I love talking about music with others and expressing it through writing would be something I'd love to be able to do with you guys. I'd write about all the new things in the music industry that people want to hear about. With our generation, I know what people want to hear and what people want to read about music.
(Headlines) Please explain what you could do with this position: Headlines to me are the most important events or things going on during the week and this will be the first thing people see when they are reading. I would write about what people might not know that is a big deal, or just reiterating something that has happened recently. I am interested in the world we live and always trying to learn more. I understand that the Headlines section needs someone who can delivery a quality piece in a timely manner. I have looked at the Headlines sections in previous issues. I can offer you an exceptional Headlines section that will be relevant, completed in a timely manner, and will be quality.
To begin explaining what I am capable of, I will make the Headlines section noteworthy by having it be relevant. As far as relevance goes, I will be sure to include up-to-date information. There will be no concern for data lags when it comes to me. I will search for the most recent occurrences in Hackforums. Furthermore, the information will be pertinent. My analytical skills are developed well-enough, so there will be no problem with my figuring out of what information belongs in the Headlines area. The Headlines section will consist of only the most enthralling stories.
Coupled with relevance, you will have no concern when it comes to my delivery, which will help make Headlines remarkable. Though I am a busy college student, I have the ability to compartmentalize my time for this task. The work will be fully completed on time every time.
In addition to relevance and time, I will make the Headlines be perceived as special, because I can delivery quality. I know that I have the writing skills needed to do this. I don't mean to come off as arrogant, but this is something that would be a breeze to do. Whatever standards you're expecting in terms of quality I can one up it.
To sum up all the points I've made for this application, the Headlines section will extraordinary in my hands, because I can bring relevance, on time, and quality work. I could write a more detailed conclusion, but I feel the repetition is unnecessary. Why do you deserve the position you are applying for?
I think the explanation of my capabilities is a considerable reason, but there are several more reasons why I deserve this position. So, I will spotlight a few more reasons briefly. I should be made the Headlines writer, because I am a respectable, active, and intelligent member.
As far as respectability goes, I hold myself to a standard that is up to par for this position. Ultimately, you do not have to worry about me giving a bad image for the News team. I will ultimately give off a positive vibe that will enhance the entire group.
Aside from being respectable, I am also on Hackforums frequently. This will allow me to look out for things that should be in the News section. Since I will be active, I will not miss anything that is important enough to be in the Headlines section. Moreover, this also means I will be easy to contact. I also have no problem with giving out additional contact details, so that I will allows be able available.
In addition to being respected and active, I am also very intelligent, which I imagine is a desirable quality for this position. In English, I have always had no problems earning an A in my courses. This is even on a college level, as I have passed both of my required English courses at 100 percent. I really don't want to come off as arrogant, so I will just say that I have an easy time when it comes to academics, and I will leave it at that. I am not in any way the most intelligent person on this Earth, even though I'd like to be, but I certainly hold the intelligence required for this particular task. Also, I will omit the conclusion to this, as it is ultimately mundane.
On what level would you say your grammar is?
I would like to give myself a 10, but I feel that no one is perfect. I'll give myself an 8 at first, and then I would give myself a 9 after revision. I do make mistakes at first, but I always go through the revisionary process for something like this.

I deserve it because I will not bail up on you guys, I will do my work as expected.
I will use my time to find the best works, and not enough with that, I desire that the quality of the news will be in the top.
I do also wish to contribute to the forum, I do not wish for the news to shut down, because I read it every single week, and I enjoy it.
As concerned, I do also enjoy to write, and I enjoy to hang out with nice individuals, I am a lazy person, no doubt, but I am never late, I like to meet new people and create friendships.
The main reason is:
I do not deserve this more than anybody else, I would just like to tell you that I think I am capable, and willing to do this, and I wish to contribute as much as possible.

I will give myself 7, for usual, and if I do revise, and look through the text, I will give it a 9, I will never be able to make it perfect, I am sorry about that.
