I noticed you can view who is downloading what files from your shared limewire. I also noticed it will tell you the number of searchs have been search to get to you.

I put in SSN, and spelled it out. Then I made the file and saved it and put it in the shared folder. Just to see how many hits i'd get on it. the file read "HA HA suckers nothing in here just a test" Funny I got up the next morning and got like over 5,000 searchs on that. and Zero downloads. Why are they scared to download it???? I was so hoping for a good laugh lol.

But yeah watch out what you share with limewire or any p2p programs/softawares so that your files or any personal information is not being shared or easily taken from criminals and so on. But sucks no one downloaded it! :( lol.

I never tried this before...so if I want someone to look for a file I created and I want to share it, I have to save the file on a folder and save the folder under my Limewire Shared folder?

It's common sense, really. I don't like to use P2P sharing programs, but I do use LimeWire now and then.

I'll stick to YouTube for music & forums/# for my downloads.

I've done that but no one downloads it. :) I want to get even with someone lol. :)

why don't you put an interesting file name like, "Jenna Jameson" for all those porn fanatics?🤣

Because lol. I am trying to get even with someone. And got their personal info. And I lost a shit load of money because of them close to 10k. :) lol.
