Esoteric language Interpreter | QWERT | Pointless Programming Language Interpreter

Okay, so these last few hours I have been absolutely obsessed with Brainfuck. I don't know why but I found it extremely interesting! After writing a few BF interpreters on my own I decided to make my own minimalistic programming language in even fewer lines!

The idea of this language is to be able to program, well "program," with just one hand on the keyboard! Hahaha. I have accomplished this by using the q w e r and t keys. There are only 5 keywords unlike BF which has 8. The interpreter is also only 19 lines hahahaha. I am sorry I just find this whole thing very funny, and interesting.

q - moves the pointer to the left (pointer -= 1)
w - subtracts 1 from the cell that the pointer is currently on
e - adds 1 to the cell that the pointer is currently on
r - moves pointer to right (pointer += 1)
t - outputs data in cell as an ASCII character

Before you criticize me for not using OOP, I didn't see the need in something as small as this... so I thought I would beat you to that.

Here is an example of "Hello World!" in qwert.
Code
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeetreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeteeeeeeetteeetwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwtqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeteeetwwwwwwtwwwwwwwwtwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwt

Here is the interpreter: http://pastebin.com/WfHMkwHT

It is silly I know but it was fun to make. Tell me what you think! :)
I give programming advice, and I specialize in Python. PM me.

Hahah thats pretty awesome, I'll have to try making my own simple language like this sometime.

I see ... A very basic implimentation nice try ...

I bet my Brainfuck interpreter thread inspired you ;)

Edit :

You should definately add loop statements to make code smaller :P

Yeah, I will add that eventually, this was just the first step and I wanted to share it. I'll tell ya it was a pain in the ass trying to get Hello World! ahahaha.

PM me if you need help I will be more than happy to help you. I find crating interpreters very fun.

Really? I thought it would be quite simple 😝:
Code
print ''.join(['e'*ord(letter)+'tr' for letter in "Hello world!"])

ofc this is longer then it should be with repeated letters
Yes esolangs could be alot of fun :P !
I thought of this esolang just now !
It is called ASDFHJKL .

it is based on the same concept as brainfuck but it needs two hands to be written(while yours needs one) !
it is really straight forward (as of the brainfuck esolang):

Code
A -> [
S -> ,
D -> <
F -> -
H -> +
J -> >
K -> .
L -> ]
As you the commands are symmetrical :P I might write an interpreter for it haha

id like to see that when it is done! Lol
