Hello HF this is most likely the end to the trilogy of how to install a OS in Virtual Box and how to install a OS in VMWare. This is how to install Sandboxie, lets begin.

So first off you want to get it here

Now it asks you to install a system level driver. If you are worried about your computer freezing don't be I have never seen one freeze.

I normally use the Avast Pro built in sandbox, or a Virtual Machine.

But never actually tried Sandboxie, I heard its quite good too though.

Besides that, its a very nice tutorial and HQ bro. Good work and thanks for making it.

This is the cheap mans way of testing something I am going to work on making another tut but I need ideas..

gj, thanks. :) helped alot for my project!
love sandboxie, it takes a lot less time then loading a VM.
Thanks for this tutorial man..very appreciate.
nice share. 👍
Some virusses bypass sandboxie. I always use a VM for testing untrusted software.

Sandboxie, Cuckoo, Norman and FireEye are all garbage and don't reflect the true nature of what things are doing. This is because of the way they're designed in the sense that often:

1) Many malware and viruses detect sandboxing and do nothing
2) Many sandboxes don't have flexibility to run for long periods so false positives will mislead you
3) A machine is only as smart as its operator and you're at the liberty of believing your machine has a brain.

There is nothing difficult about reversing malware without a Sandbox.

VMWare is another horrible choice if you're going to analyze malware as stated: many malware strains have checks to detect whether or not they're running in a virtualized environment. The work around would be to edit your guest registry and remove ALL instances of VMWare. VirtualBox is a better option for snapshots as well as not being detected as much as VMWare.

It is unlikely that someone on here will be getting a virus like that, though I have had one of them. A pain in the ass to kill these are just for people to install them
