Synopsis

The historical romantic comedy follows 17-year-old high schooler Sagara Yoshiharu who one day time-travels to the Sengoku period, where all the major Samurai lords are cute girls. Yoshiharu meets Oda Nobuna, the female counterpart of Oda Nobunaga, and begins to serve her as a substitute of Kinoshita Tokichiro, who was killed.

This was recommended by Killua, a great member and i will say this is a great anime! Thank you for recommending me this amazing and unforgettable anime!

Characters (8/10)

The characters were amazing in this anime, even though it played as a comedy it all seemed so real (well, most of it). The characters were played nicely and complimented each other. Without one character the story would be ruined in my opinion so that is a huge plus for the characters.

Art (10/10)

I must say that this anime had an amazing team of artists that did an outstanding job on the character design as well as the scenes, and the landscape. This will forever be one of my favorites because of the detail that they spent on making everything seem perfect.

Story (9/10)

The story was just amazing, as it states in the synopsis a 17 year old travels back in time to the sengoku period and all the major samurais were cute girls. In this situation what would you do? I think i would love to stay a while. Not only does this story perfect that a comedy does not have to be funnier than the other parts of the story, but it proves that comedies can have a deeper and great meaning to it.

Enjoyment (10/10)

I enjoyed this anime a fuck-ton, i loved everything about it, from the drop dead serious romances to the ever loving jokes of a comedy. The fact that all the generals were hot as fuck and each of them experience something to just make that little man stand at attention for a little bit.

Overall (9/10)

This anime was an amazing change to what i normally watch. I usually don't go for the samurai/war genre because i don't like it as much as other genres, but, since seeing this anime i think what i have thought about a samurai genre was wrong and will be looking forward to watching more samurai genres. I would recommend this anime to ANYONE honestly, it has a little bit of everything for everyone!

This review is highly overrated in every sense. Lets start with the basics of the main protagonist, A 17year old Otaku who winds up in a history where males dictators are turned into sexy females... Sounds interesting I will admit. However saying the characters complement each other and the story is impossible to do without it just plain wrong. Also the art itself can't be rated a 10, I mean seriously, there are many things that need work... The only thing the anime could be rated highly on for art is the quick 3 second badass sword scenes. So instead of thinking of this a badass you should see it as 3second badass per episodes and then 22minutes of a 17year old otaku surrounded by babes in another era.... Oh I almost forgot, the major fucking plot whole in the start where we don't even know how the hell he even got into this era... HE JUST SHOWS UP! Seriously this should of been addressed immediately.

Now don't get me wrong, I know I recommended this anime, but I just can't agree with such a high rating... But I am glad you liked it.

agreed in fact i would probably say character 6/10 just because the main character was like a massive puss most of the time, not gonna lie i watched it mostly cause of the sexy chicks.

I liked it, but I don't think it deserves a 9. <--- My opinion.
There were so many cheesy lines and the MC was so generic.
But the art was fucking amazing, and I liked the plot too.
Is there gonna be a season 2?

Also, to all those who say they think it doesn't deserve what i rated it, just keep in mind that these are my opinions and not written in stone! The reason i rated so high was because to me these anime's are my favorite. There will always be a a persuasive power leading to why the ratings are high.

Maybe you could try dropping the grading system and adding a pros/cons from an objective standpoint for each section because subjectivity does not make for a good review.
