Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback. The only thing I think I would change is the lion head itself. I couldn't find the actual Red Lions logo, otherwise I would have used that.

The only constructive criticism I could give is; try to create a completely unique logo.

No I didn't do the pen work. I was learning how to make a grainy effect and I posted the results. I used the dodge and burn tool to give it some depth, and added some noise and a motion blur for the line effect. Instead of using gradients and stuff like I usually do.

OT: It's fairly basic if you didn't do the pen work.
I think you should redo the red shield you have underneath, since the shape seems a bit odd.
