CompTIA is giving away 400 free "2013 CDIA+" beta exams, and if you pass you get full certification credentials when its officially released in early 2013. If I remember this test is about $400, so who doesn't want to get something that looks good on your resume for free?
For those who want to give it a shot, get a account or sign in at Pearson's CompTIA portal (link) and register to take the exam at your nearest testing center.
Everything should be self explanatory, but as a reminder you should not use fake credentials unless you have the photo IDs to match.
The outline for this certification is here (link).
Its not going to be easy to anyone who doesn't know the basics of this field, but if you do pass I know its a highly sought after credential with Ricoh, Toshiba America Business Solutions, Canon and Hyland Software.
Did I forget to say its free? Nothing lost if you fail.
The promo code to get this for free is as follows.
CDIAENG - English
CDIAJP - Japanese
