I'd like a feature where you can search for unanswered threads, usually these threads slip through because of the bigger threads so it would make sense to have a feature that lets us look for ones that haven't been solved/replied to yet.

Because the main reason for certain sections is to ask for help but they just disapear because of the huge threads.

That is not true, lets take the Beginner Hacking section for example. Members ask for help on daily basis. Pretty much every thread in that section gets posted on.

Off topic from the current subject, but you will find most if not all threads in there (mostly recent) will have been replied to by me or Amus3d

Why would you search for unanswered threads, if you wanted to find a specific thread you would just type the keywords into the search feature.

Perhaps you aren't searching for a specific thread.

Threads generally go unanswered for reason.

Generally being the operative word. In a community this large I'm certain that at least some quality threads end up unanswered.

Dii xOx and Feynman bring up some points. Of course these options are available, however they are not quite fast, efficient or refined as a "View Unanswered Posts" option.

I don't really see what some people have against a "View Unanswered Posts" option being implemented. Maybe there's a reason there isn't one, I don't know.

You can use a filter for that.
Click on replies in a certain forum, than choose for desc.

If a thread is not closed, it is not answered. - (This only applys to the Rules, Announcements, News and Feedback).

As for other sections, since we don't have a way to mark Solved or not, your going to have to find it your self.
