This week's poll is all about soundtracks. You will be voting for how much of an impact a show's soundtrack has on the overall enjoyment of the anime. Make sure to also post a comment with the series you think has THE BEST soundtrack evar after you vote!
The question: What does an anime's soundtrack mean to you? Your choices:
Just about everything, I can't watch it if the soundtrack doesn't wow me.
I find it incredibly hard to watch something without a good soundtrack.
The soundtrack turns an okay series into a good series.
Doesn't really affect me much.
I don't even notice the soundtrack...
I'd still watch a series even if the soundtrack consisted of cats fucking and car wrecks.
There you have it guys, your 25th AA weekly poll!
Poll specs: Feel free to leave a comment saying why you picked the choice you did. Feel free to debate/flame/rate and hate. Poll is public and single choice only. Poll will close in 5 days.

Go team! Thanks again for that, I really didn't intend on being gone that long :3
I do notice the soundtrack when it's good, like during an epic fight scene in Fate/Zero or a sad moment in Clannad, but it doesn't make a huge difference to me really.

"I find it incredibly hard to watch something without a good soundtrack."
At first I didn't even care about anime music since I was only listening to Metal but after I started learning japanese and wanted to hear clear vocals in music I started to listen to them.
Since then I listen to pretty much everything that isn't too mainstream and I have a list of a few hours only of anime songs. :D
"The soundtrack turns an okay series into a good series."
It could also turn a good series into an awesome series that I'll remember for a long time. :3
I have a lot of soundtracks downloaded from many shows and I enjoy listening to them all.
Here's me, about to write a massive post in reply to a simple question >.>
Not going to lie, a shit is still a shit even if they decorate it with gold and diamonds. Although I adore and respect a good soundtrack, it just doesn't mend a natural catastrophe. Yes, I'm looking at you GC.
For "okay" series, I'm pretty much indifferent to it. Sure, a good soundtrack can keep an "okay" anime from being just bad, but it doesn't make it any better.
Good music shines the most in actual good series. As Fox said, it can turn a good series into an awesome series. But in the end, the music isn't anything more than that.
Voted for "Doesn't really affect me much." An okay series is still an okay series regardless of music. Same goes for bad ones. It only polishes the quality that was already present.

Gold and diamonds covered with shit, is still gold and diamonds, but you won't see me touching them.
I find it difficult to watch a show without good music. I will, but if the show is already mediocre in of itself, I would probably drop it. I just find it difficult to watch a show, when all I hear are cats fucking in the background.
"I'd still watch a series even if the soundtrack consisted of cats fucking and car wrecks."
Because honestly, I don't have about the sound track. I have yet to run into anything out of my <30 series that turned me off to the point to where I couldn't watch it.
The sound track is about as important as the intro is to me; if it's great- awesome! If it sucks- it doesn't matter.
