Can someone tell me how to switch from win 8 back to windows 7 on a samsung ultrabook.

You may use the recover discs supplied to you by your vendor. In case they aren't then you have to reinstall Windows 7 removing the current system partition. Windows does not allow downgrading Windows 8 to Windows 7. A fresh install is advisable to avoid any conflicts and for smooth running.

You have to freshly install Windows 7 using Windows 7 Installer disk or from a Pen Drive if your ultra-book does not have a Optical disk drive.

Its does but when it restarts it goes into windows setup and then wont work

What is the exact error that you are facing. If possible then take a snap of the monitor and post here so it will be better to see the error and suggest a solution accordingly.

you'll need a win7 dvd and then will have to go from there to format
