Hello, I am trying to upgrade Windows 8 RC to RTM, but I need some advice. I removed all of the programs that wouldn't be compatible with the upgrade, and that list included winpcap. I have winpcap uninstalled with everything else. Now it won't upgrade because I need to remove winpcap installer. There is nothing winpcap related to uninstall though.

Try running something like Uninstaller from IOBit. Freeware to help remove registry items related to the software and a much more thorough removal tool.

Also, are you doing this with a disk/ISO or through CMD Line?

You should put an ISO on to a USB/DVD boot from that and try Upgrade from there. It should work but Windows won't like 1 program
