Legion | How to test your server (RAT)

Hello, welcome to my guide. Today ill be teaching you new members of hacking to learn how to test your own server instead of asking someone too send you a test slave. There are a couple of ways too do this, ill post all the ones I know of.

Before we start testing our RATs, you've to make sure you have the following:
- Your Remote Administration Tool Server
- Portforwarded
- Optional: Sandboxie

Testing with Anubis

- Your server must be uncrypted and not tampered with for this method.

1. Firstly, you want to go head over too the site we will be using

2. Scroll down the page and you will notice this

3. Now, you can upload your server from your pc or from a direct link.
4. Now that you've added your server too the site, you want to go check the little box so you don't have to wait aslong to get your server checked.

5. Hit submit and you will now see

6. Once it's done, you should see a new install on your rat.

Testing with Sandboxie

This method is quite good but sometimes it doesn't work for some members. What is Sandboxie? Sandboxie is a program which runs your programs in an isolated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer.

1. Download and install Sandboxie

2. Right click on your server and click 'Run Sandboxie'

3. Choose " Default Sandbox ".
4. You should pop up on your rat if you portforwared correctly.

Testing with a Virtual Maching

1. Get the VMware Player here: http://www.vmware.com/products/player/
After downloading it, run the setup. Should not be much trouble.
2. Launch your VMWare Player and click on "Create New Virtual Machine.'

3. The install wizard will popup. In the first step of the wizard you have to chose an ISO or CD to install your OS from.

4. In the second step you have to provide a CD-Key for your OS and a password which will be used for the admin account.

5. Now, in the next step in the install you get to change the name of your vm and where it will be stored.

6. In the fourth step of the wizard you can change the size of the disk size of your virtual machine.

7.In the fifth and last step you will see a summary of the settings for your virtual machines.

8. Click on "Play virtual machine". If you run the machine for the first time, the windows OS setup should start automatically. Just run the setup as usual.
9. Upload your server too mediafire or uppit. Now go too your VM and copy&paste your link into 'Internet Explorer'.
10. Now that you have downloaded your server go ahead and run it!
11. If everything was set up correctly, you should pop up on your rat.

Testing on yourself

Simple, just run it on your own pc and then uninstall it through your rat..
