Let's do this!
1. Check USB-Debugging by going to 'settings > developer options > check: usb debugging'
2. Check Unknown Sources by going to 'settings > security > check: unknown sources
3. Plug your phone in your computer.
4. Download the root toolkit from HERE and remember where you saved it.
5. Navigate to the place you saved it. Now to prevent errors coming up, hold ctrl+shift and right click anywhere in that folder and click 'open command window here'.
Spoiler (Click to View)
6. Now type in: 'stuff\adb devices' and press enter, you should see your phone appear. This means you're properly connected. Something like this:

(Just a bunch of random numbers and letters but that is your phone, if nothing shows up, your phone isn't connected properly and you should install the right drivers for your phone HERE)
7. Now type in the same command prompt: 'runme' and press enter, this should show up:
Spoiler (Click to View)
8. 1. Xperia phones = Normal mode
2. Sony Tablet and similar = Special mode
Go ahead and choose the one you need.
Type in '1' or '2' (depends on what you need) and press enter.
9. It'll do a lot of stuff and blabla, but after a couple seconds the backup and restore manager on your phone should show up. (something called 'rootme') In the bottom of that program on your phone is a button 'restore'. Hit that button.
10. After that, it'll say 'Good! It worked' and some other shit. Now your phone will reboot. (first boot can take some time, about 1/2 mins)
11. Good job, you've rooted your phone! To check if it's rooted look into your apps and you should see a new app called 'superuser'.
If you find this tutorial helpfull, please leave a reply. If you didn't, tell me what to change about it!
Best regards and good luck,
THL
