First off, I'd like to say that I haven't received a penny from the money. I was doing an exchange for someone. I didn't even take fees. Though, Cryptic and Anonymous are both legit, they did send the LR and I sent it to the other side. Well, it was too good to be true.

That's very true. That's what happened. It happened on Skype. Will let someone trusted like F8 to check my Skype (no need for screenshots) I made a mistake but didn't scam. I'd never scam anyone on HF. I've spent more than 3 years here without any report. Shit happens.

Again, Cryptic is genuinely right. Anonymous as well. I really don't know what to do ...

EDIT: And it's quite shameful to be honest, to see all this shit and all your shitty posts without even knowing the reasons. I won't scam anyone. I'd never think about scamming anyone. Neither IRL nor on HF.

tl;dr: I was a middleman. I received the LR from Cryptic or Anonymous, waited till the other side (https://hackforums.net/member.php?action...id=1133072) sends the money, then sent the LR to them. I understand all what Omniscient did and I want to thank him for letting me post.

So he is the guy who actually made the chargeback. But still bro you should have not done that for him.

Well i really don't know what to think i am mind fucked, I mean you are a mentor with 3 years on here why would you wanna loose that over a few dollars, But cryptic is a very HQ and trusted member too and would not make this up to screw you over.. Please try to read. Cryptic is legit as fuck. The other party (I was a middleman) charged back the PayPal. I don't even have a verified PayPal myself, I live in Lebanon and can't create a PayPal and verify it. I only do like $2-$10 deals using PayPal.

Nah, it's my fault. I'm always honest. Although I didn't get a penny, it's still my fault. I'd send the $235 right now if I had them, too bad I don't. But will get this resolved with both Cryptic and Anonymous.

I'm not saying it was an intentional scam, nor was it your fault.. But at the end of the day it's your responsibility and furthermore it's your responsibility to pay the user what he is owed. It's always sad to see someone taken advantage of, but again, that's your fault for trusting the user.

So do whatever you have to too recover the money, and pay him back 👍

I wasn't accusing him of not going to pay it back, I'm just saying that the scam report on him is legit.
Let me be more clear, the scam report was caused by someone fucking him over, but it's still his mess to clean up.

I wish you all the best on sorting it out, take the person to court if you have to, and all the best in getting back into mentors and the reviewers 😏

I really don't know about the Mentor thing. I do hope to become a mentor again and I don't think I was demoted.
