I 'got' the R14 version of cinema 4d and when I load any rigs/characters there is just a white space..

Can anyone tell me how to show that 3d stuff.

Might be a lightroom or just the rig is bigger than the scene. PM me skype and I will help you out. I am pretty good with C4D

Must be an OpenGL error.
Go to preferences->openGL then turn it off.
Will work for you even if there's no OpenGL turned on.

I think something is corrupted witin the files of C4D itself hit Ctrl+D and search for linear workflow turn it off on.
And as Koala suggested check your OpenGL settings.
