Please do not start a bot net if you are just going to use it for ddosing. It is really expensive and requires a lot more knowledge then you probably have, just go to the server stress testing section on hf and they will have booters and apis for you to buy.

DoS attacks will not work unless the server you're using is pretty damn strong and you're stressing a home connection, what you're looking for is a DDoS attack. The difference between them is with a DDoS attack (Distributed Denial of Service attack) you use multiple servers/bots instead of one which would be a DoS attack (Denial of Service attack).

To preform a DDoS attack you're either going to need a botnet or a or a booter. For a botnet look up some tutorials and for a booter check out the Server Stress Testing section and buy one, I'd recommend xBoot.

Or you could stop leeching off other peoples shit. And learn how to install ssh2 on a server, and compile a setup from a vps, or where ever you like it.

Take a look at these.

Layer 4 DDos (Thousand attackers bringing down one machine)
Layer 7 DOS (Where one attacker can bring down one or more sites)
Link-local IPv6 RA Attack (one attacker can bring down a whole network)

Google about and watch a few videos, Theres a brilliant talk at DEFCON on this subject by a guy called Sam Bowne :)

To tell him to buy a vps under his name and use it for one of most annoying things for hosts, other then child porn is a bad idea also. You should learn linux if you want to host anything, ever. It will not only save you money but it is one of the most secure oses that you can find. (and most archs are open source and free!) If you were talking to me about leeching, I do not like booters personally I think they spam HF and are made for dumb people that should not have the power to send attacks. For the second time this week I do not post unless I am accurate and have thought about it, otherwise I might look stupid.

DDoS attacks are also much more effective then DoS. Best not to boot from your own home connection, just lags you. A good booter can be bought for like $5 a month which hits for up to 30 minutes.

He can still have a botnet; just setup a HTTP one, and get a crypter which will cost same price as a stresser. And then he can spread.... DUHH instead of paying monthly for a shit stresser.
