Another question

I have this .rar file which has an encrypted file inside. I've tried to use software to de encrypt it but it always says file not encrypted because Im not able to get to the file that it is within the .rar file.

I hope someone understands, and either knows software to use or how to get the file out of .rar file or de encrypt it.

Yh ik what it is and I have software but I can't actaully get to the file because it's zipped - I don't think I explained that soz - but yh I can't get to the file through the software because it can't open files within a zipped file.

As above if you want the files you need to brute force it.

How are you meant to brute force it if you can't actaully get to the file without extracting it , which you need the password to do?

If I understood you correct, you have an encrypted .rar file (basically password protected)?
In this case, the user above pushed you in the right direction: you want to brute force. This means you'll try 'every' possible password until you found the matching one. You use the search button, I'm sure you'll find somethig.

There are programs for brute forcing .rar, like I said just search.

That's the things though I have a program that can do that it just can't detect the file cus it's within the zip file

one can use rarcrack from backtrack... to recover the password form rar, zip file...
