And make a dayz sub forum in it? Arma is an awesome game and with Arma 3 coming out I think there would be a lot of discussion about it. And besides, dayz IS a mod for Arma. I understand that the stand-alone is coming out, but thats what the dayz sub forum would be for. Opinions?

I believe that ArmA is more popular than DayZ, though. Tbh, DayZ seems to be dying out (don't quote me on that) and with ArmA 3 coming out soon I think ArmA will even increase in popularity. I know I would post a lot in the ArmA section and I know a lot of people on HF that play ArmA as well. Why not a DayZ and an ArmA section?

DayZ standalone is coming out soon, so there will be lots of new topics, and so those mixing with Arma topics since ARMA 3 is coming would be confusing. I support this idea.

I totally agree with this. Sounds like the perfect solution. ArmA deserves a section, especially with all the modding and teamwork involved with it.

I agree with Charmz. DayZ is just a mod, while Arma is the full game. I think that DayZ should have a subforum or a tag, and Arma should be the title of the forum.

DayZ won't be a mod for long so no, it shouldn't be a sub forum for Arma.

Please link ArmA threads. I doubt there are enough to create it's own section. DayZ is not dead yet. The standalone will be a huge hit, I'm expecting it to be as successful if not more successful than the mod itself. If there are enough threads about ArmA though, then making its own section would be appropriate.

I don't think there's enough activity of either at the minute to be honest. When you search for Arma, you get: notice that half of them are in the marketplace too. Fair enough, you get less for DayZ on search but if there's a new version coming out it might rise activity again.

The point is that if there was one dedicated section for ArmA it would be a lot easier to discuss. ArmA is a very vast game, I think it deserves its own section.

I disagree. There are not enough posts and if you even do a simple search all of the results you get are about DayZ. Literally all of the results posted from Revenge.'s search were DayZ related (selling ArmA keys is a well-known way to bypass bans in DayZ while script-hacking).
