The Summer Anime Challenge

Hello again my Otaku brethren! As of today, Summer has officially started, and so I bring to you the proposition of yet another challenge. The Spring Showdown was a pretty big success in the subforum, and so I decided we should continue into a new challenge this season! However, it's Summer, which is an entirely different season than Spring, so the challenge will be much different!

The goal for this Challenge is to watch as much anime as you possibly can in one season. That's right, this is a tournament to see who can watch more anime (or read more manga) than any one else on AA. And yes, Manga fans are in luck here, because you're included in this challenge!

So, how will this be measured? If you would like to participate in this challenge, then post in this thread with your MAL account, or whatever site you use for that. If you don't have one, make one, you only have to use it for this challenge. From there, I will mark how many episodes of anime you have watched, and how much manga you have read. Then, you can post about all the things you've watched and read in the discussion threads, and at the end of summer, I'll check again and find the person with the most total change in episodes watched/chapters read. Seems fair? Then get to it!

Even if you don't think you'll watch a ton of anime this season, you should still join and be a part of this activity for the whole of AA. We would love to have you :)

Update: As a note to a few people who have said they only wouldn't join because they don't want to make a MAL - If you join, just tell me what you saw/read on each update thread, and you'll be fine :)

I did this last summer when I just started watching anime again... not going to participate as my entire summer flashed before my eyes.. well above my computer screen that is :P I was literally watching at least a season - a season and a half a day (12 ep per season)
