Today i moved some of my websites to a new server , but all of them are showing this error :

2002 - Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)

Any possible solution?

Are you sure the path to your mysql.sock is correct? (assuming Linux, so do "cd /var/lib/mysql" and run "ls" without quotations, should list the file)

Okay , i fixed it by restarting mysql service , thanks.
