The current cryptography forum is mostly spammed with crypters and stuff, leaving the real cryptography behind.

So why not make a forum for hash cracking, discussion on ciphers etc. and another for malware protecting/crypters?

To show that there's enough activity to warrant such a distinction, you'll need at least 100 threads specifically on the topic you're suggesting. Also Omni said he was considering making a crypter section in the marketplace, which might solve the issue you're having. However I wouldn't hold your breath for that, he was iffy about the idea.

Well it isn't really many threads about ciphers, but most defenitly over 100 of threads with hash cracking.

I don't think free crypters would go in the marketplace, which is what he's talking about.

That could be an option, but the "real" crypto threads would still drown in the other threads about protecting malware.

The best would be a separate forum only for cryptography, where people make tutorials and discuss ciphers/hashes/algorithms etc.
