Just posting a quick notice before I head to the airport.

First, Happy Anniversary to The Empire, it will be 1 year old on August 7th.

Second, as mentioned in my HF News interview for this week's edition, I am retiring as owner of The Empire and giving it away for free to xadamxk to take run. I will transfer ownership to him sometime after my vacation once he's ready. It's never been done with a paid group, but I believe it's better to have the group continue to run with the many friendships it's created over time and continue to be a place of strong community on the site instead of being greedy and selling it for a quick buck.

Upon my return from my vacation I won't be nearly as active as I have been over the last year as I don't have a much free time as I used to.

The Empire will remain the same for the most part, same gfx, info, etc. The only main difference is it will be xadamxk's group instead of mine. For more specifics feel free to read my interview here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3658721

I've send Omniscient a PM to change xadamxk to moderator of The Empire. Glad to have had the opportunity to run the group for a year and I wish Adam luck in continuing it.

The Empire has been the best well run group I've ever been in and Tibit is the reason. xadamxk is more than qualified to take the reigns, but I know we'll miss you greatly and it wont' be the same without your tyrannical oversight! :P

Tibit is transfering ownership (which means he will not own The Empire anymore) to xadamxk.
