How To Setup An API Booter
This will be a tutorial covering how to setup a booter based with an API for personal use, business use, etc. This will be my first tutorial on Hack Forums and I will try to make this as clear and precise as possible so you can setup a booter in less than 10 minutes.
What is an API Booter?
An API Booter uses an API which sends an attack to the desired targeted IP address based on your input from the booter. Now API is a slang term used on Hack Forums, API stands for application programming interface but I will keep it simple. What it basically does is that it sends information based on your input such as 60 seconds as the attack time and then sends it to the actual script where the attack will occur from a different location. This is helpful since it hides the identity of the attacking server from other members.
But on Hack Forums an API generally means a dedicated server in which you can send attacks without actually having to own the server. Consider it as merely renting a spot out on a dedicated server to help give your booter power. They will give you a link usually to put into your booter so it can send attacks.

Web Source
SQL Database
Let's Begin
The first thing you will need to get started is a web host. Now for booters I do not recommend any free hosting companies and I know some people don't like Hack Forums' hosts but they all seems to work fine and they are pretty cheap. You could always just look for a hosting company outside of HF but make sure they are offshore so your booter does not get taken down. I will be using X10 Hosting and I definitely do not recommend them, this is for educational purposes.
After you get your hosting sorted, proceed to the control panel and then proceed to find the File Manager under the Files heading.

Then you will want to go there via your web root and you can choose to delete your cgi bin if you choose it won't hurt anything. Once you are in the file manager and under public_html click upload.

Once you are at the upload screen just click the choose file button and upload the zip folder with the web files you downloaded. Once you are completely done uploading you may close the tab and return to your file manager on the other tab. Remember to refresh to see the changes that have occurred.
Unzipping
Now you can see that the zip file you uploaded is in your public_html directory, you will now want to select the zip folder and unzip it and extract the contents back to public_html. After you are done delete the zip folder. I will demonstrate this below.

MySQL Server
Now we are doing editing the source for now. Now proceed to the control panel home page and scroll down a bit to the tab Databases and then click MySQL Databases.
Once you are there you will want to create a new database under create new database. Name it something you will remember. Once you made a database scroll down a bit more and then create a user. Also make these credentials something you will remember including the password. After you are done creating your user go back and scroll down the page and add the user to the database you made using the drop boxes. It will then ask what privileges to give the user select them all as shown below.

Editing Config.php
Alright so you got the SQL database made. Now we will want to go back to the cpanel and click on file manager. Once you are in the directory select config.php and click edit. Now we will need to edit the default code so our source can interact with the database. Just input your user and database information as shown below and click save. Please do not use my information in the after code as that is what I made please remember to fill in your own credentials.
If you want to give your booter a name just insert it where the $sn variable is. Another good thing to add is your website url. Just put the direct link to the booter in the $url variable.
Before:
Code
define('DB_USER', 'root');
define('DB_PASS', '');
define('DB_NAME', 'free_source');
define('DB_HOST', 'localhost');
$odb = new PDO('mysql: host=' . DB_HOST . ';dbname=' . DB_NAME, DB_USER, DB_PASS);
//General Config
$sn = 'Free Source';
$url = 'http://localhost/free/';After:
Code
define('DB_USER', 'tstboot_test1');
define('DB_PASS', 'boblol');
define('DB_NAME', 'tstboot_test');
define('DB_HOST', 'localhost');
$odb = new PDO('mysql: host=' . DB_HOST . ';dbname=' . DB_NAME, DB_USER, DB_PASS);
//General Config
$sn = 'Suffer Booter';
$url = 'http://testboot.x10.mx/';You may now exit file manager and return back to the cpanel.
Uploading The MySQL Database
Now you will want to scroll back down to the catagory Databases but this time I want you to click phpMyAdmin. It will look a bit complex if you have never seen it before but it is easy to use. You will want to go ahead and select your database which is shown below.
Spoiler (Click to View)
Once you are in you will want to hit import so you can upload your database. Then click choose file and upload the SQL database. After you are done uploading do not touch any other option on the page. Just scroll down and hit go.

After you are complete go ahead and go to your login page on the booter. If you are getting any mySQL errors then you mistyped your user or database somewhere in config.php and should double check to be sure.
Now you are wondering I can't register any accounts. Well there is no register page. You have a default login.
Code
Username: admin
Password: adminNow you should be able to log into the booter. Now since the default account is just plain silly. You will want to go to the admin drop down menu and select users. It will appear as shown.
Spoiler (Click to View)
Go ahead and make your own account. Give yourself whatever seconds you want and I would max out the membership. After you created your account scroll down and click edit on your account and under rank make your account an admin. Now you may log out and log into your new account.
If you logged in successfully then you want to go under admin once more and hit users. You will then want to edit the admin account. Once you are there just scroll down all the way and select delete user. The admin account no longer exist. You now run your own booter.
API
You have your very own booter now and it is time to add an API so you can actually use this booter and attack IPs. Under your admin panel simply click API. Now just replace the default API link with the one you were given or you made.

This tutorial is now complete and you should have a functioning API Booter. Thank you for reading this and I hope I didn't bore you.
