Was Just browsing through eBay, and I found this Amazing Deal if you're looking for a new 3D Smart TV.

I'm going to purchase this, as soon as my Paycheck comes in. Really looking forward to it.

The whole 3D TV movement never really caught on, and it's phasing out now quicker than it has been before. My cable provider has dropped all but a few of the channels that were broadcast in 3D, and I doubt it's the only one

I guess if you really want one to watch 3D Bluray/DVDs, go for it. Just make sure it's something you want and you're not paying a premium just because it says 3D. I imagine there will be massive sales when retailers just want to be done with them

Side note: Have you used the demo units in Sams, Walmart, etc? Maybe I'm missing something but I never got anything from the 3D TV's other than headaches lol

My Samsung and Sony TV's both convert 2D to 3D.

However it's converted, the results aren't really that different then receiving real 3D signals (my own experience).
