I like the new style. I really do, but it definitely needs improvement though. For one, the old style was very easy and soft going on the eyes. When I viewed the old sites style, it would never cause any sort of strain. The new site has to few unnaturally shades of purple colors that cause unnecessary strain that makes it sometimes difficult for me to read through a page or search for something basic such as a button. The old hackforums had shades of green and purple. In which green is the easiest color for your eyes to process out of all the colors.

One of these is he new color changes to the usernames. It is still difficult for me to properly associate the members names with there forum upgraded status, normal, or ban status. There's really not much you can do for it other than deal with it.

Secondly is the border to everything on this site. The background squares resemble the border to similarly so it's hard to distinguish them. It kind of just blends in like there is no border at all. Suggestion: Make it more contrasting, yet easy on the eyes. Maybe a darker hint of purple? I don't know.

Third, the title bar below the Hackforums title is too skinny.

It requires more precision. We all know Hackforums are lazy slobs. So why not make it a little bit thinker so it's easier to click on instead of pinpointing it? I think a little thicker of a title menu for HF would look a tad nicer anyway.

I don't know why you guys have problems with your eyes at such a young age. The theme is fine, it doesn't hurt my eyes and I have issues with my eyes from London to Moscow.
The theme has nothing wrong with it and the improves you listed are not necessary one bit.

The thread is fine IMO, if it hurts your eyes try changing the monitor brightness and contrast. One thing that does hurt my eyes is your signature..

I can send you the style I made if you want. It's pure CSS so you don't need to worry about greasemonkey or anything.

If you have firefox you just need to save it into a text document. If you have anything else though you will need to use the "Stylish" plugin or something similar.

Switch back then. It is soft in my eyes, and the colors blend in well. You should wait till Omniscient has more or less perfected the theme before making any new threads.
