This is going to be my feedback thread from the past 2 years of being a member. First I will start off by letting you get to know me. My name is Tom and I'm a senior in high school. I love computers and programming, although I'm not good at either. I plan on joining the US armed forces when I graduate and eventually pursue a dream job of becoming a animal physiologist.
Why I joined:
I joined the forums mainly to find a modded client for Minecraft. I slowly started coming back more often and posting there more and more. I eventually posted everyday and opened up more to giving suggestions and my opinions. As much as I hate that section of the forums now, it was my home.
I eventually upgraded myself to L33T and made threads in different sections. After about 6 months I went inactive for a while. I didn't even sign on once and was going through a very big personal change. On May 26 2012 I came back and showed my "face" back into the community. I was surprised at the changes in the short time and even more surprised people remembered me.
Fast forward to 7-23-12 when I bought Ub3r. I started to have spurts of activity for a few weeks where I would post a lot or barely any time at all. I moved into the iOS section and helped out answering people's questions in there. I've now been recently bouncing around in video game sub-forums.
Groups:
I have applied to some groups and never got accepted. I do think that most groups are high quality. I also enjoy seeing groups like The Brotherhood and The Empire post a lot of tutorials around the forums.
Staff:
Omniscent - You are really the only staff/admin I have talked to and got help from. As busy as you are running a huge forum, you replied within 5 minutes every time. Thank you for all the help.
Factor8 & Xch4ng3 - I hate pairing you guys up because you handle different things around here. I've never talked to you guys nor seen you around in threads posting. You are the "dark knights" of this forum to me, protecting it in the shadows. Thanks for that.
Judge Dredd - You are one of the staff I respect the most. When I got a warning a while ago you answered all my questions about it and made everything clear about what is considered what. I was quite shocked when you were demoted, but I'm glad to see you on the staff list again.
Paradoxum - Haven't seen you around a lot either, but I do notice you banning a lot of people. Thank you for keeping the community safe.
Chris & D3xus - You guys are new to me and I never see either of you posting. I'm going to assume you guys do help with the forum and I thank you for it.
