MSn freezing

If you freeze an MSN does it freeze the XBL account linked to it ?

My old MSN is being used to scam and I wanna get someone to freeze it but I dont wanna lose my XBL account.
I dont think so because when you log in on XBL youre not really signing in with the email, its technically considered your ID.
I hope you understand what I meant.

Well what I said is true. freezing is when you log in from an account after many attempts and fail, and theyll stop you from signing in. But when you created your account did you enter your emails password? Simply answering no means youre not signing in to ur email when you sign in on XBL. Correct me if im wrong.

Look. When you sign up for your XBL you use your email to sign in, but you dont sign in into the email.
Get it yet?
