BenQ XL2420TE 144Hz, 1ms High Performance 24-Inch Professional Gaming Monitor SALE!

BenQ XL2420TE Monitor

I don't know much about gaming monitors because they are outrageously expensive, but a friend sent me this link on fb saying that it is on sale $50 off.

Product and Reviews on NewEgg

This monitor is Lightboost capable.

LightBoost is a strobe backlight invented by nVidia for 3D Vision to serve three purposes simultaneously:

Reduce 3D crosstalk.
Make image brighter with 3D glasses.
Eliminate motion blur.
(good for 2D too, without 3D glasses)

The third item is the most important feature, from the Blur Busters perspective.
This is the raison d’être of LightBoost HOWTO, which specifically enables the LightBoost motion blur elimination feature for 2D gaming (without needing 3D glasses).

Main Pros:
+ Elimination of motion blur. CRT perfect clarity motion.
+ Improved competitive advantage by faster human reaction times.
+ Far more fluid than regular 120Hz or 144Hz.
+ Fast motion is more immersive.

Main Cons:
- Reduced brightness.
- Degradation of color quality.
- Flicker, if you are flicker sensitive.
- Requires a powerful GPU to get full benefits.

Two ways to buy, 1 from amazon for those who have their discounts ways, etc amazon gift card and such, and newegg for faster delivery for pickup and such.

IMO, i know that the brand I have above is the best for gaming because of response time. I know Asus is good for average users who game and watch movies and do photoshop and such. I know that Dell is excellent when it comes to pixels, mostly used for adobe related stuff.

true, BenQ are used for by MLG :) and probably are better for gaming :)

Although that screen has a contrast ratio of 12,000,000:1
and my Asus has 80,000,000:1 ;)
Yeah the High HZ rate helps to churn out the extra frames your PC is putting out, good buy right here.
