Couldn't you just type "start minecraft.exe" into the CMD?

Typing "start minecraft.exe" would only launch the Official Minecraft Launcher.

This allows the user to control certain parameters, and is also the basis for creating a custom Launcher client.

Like the example I have in my OP. I am able to log people in to minecraft without them ever knowing the password or having to type anything in it's a simple button click.
