I figured I'd get back into making tutorials, I'll start with beginner tutorials once again and then work up towards the intermediate then advanced.
Here's a simple video on how to make animated and fading texts for your private server(s) such as Runescape Private Servers, WoW Servers, Mine Craft servers, etc.

It all depends on what sort of effect you're trying to do with the items. In this case fading, no. It'll have the same outcome as it would with a text.

I plan to, I'll probably teach some other cool effects you could do with the timeline. I have work today and tomorrow so I'll see what I can do.
