When I receive my new equipment, I plan on moving completely to IPv6.
Anyone useing IPv6, does HF support it?
US will run out of IPv4's in about 4-6 months. The world has alread run out lol
Anyways... I have a small IPv6 network, but it's a shity configuration (old Netgear) and not at all secure (no NAT needed, I need moar firewalls).
Thanks :D

Once demand is higher than supply, all that happens is that prices will rise. In fact, we're already out of IPv4 addresses, hence why they've gone up in price.
There's a thread about it being supported here:
I'm pretty sure once IPV5 becomes larger that Omniscient will support the movement.

>IPv5
I'll assume a typo :) Internet Stream Protocol (ST or ST2) won't catch on anytime soon xD

I can add an IPv6 IP at any time. Would take me probably an hour or two to fully configure the server. But even if you're coming from IPv6 you should be able to reach HF just fine. LMK if that's not true.
EDIT: IPv6 enabled. DNS will work and so will Apache. One problem is MyBB though which is NOT compatible with IPv6.
EDIT 2: I've disabled IPv6 because the CDN is not compatible yet. Neither is the geoip software I use as part of my security. Those are 2 things that would need to be fixed. I'm fairly sure that MyBB has some issues too like banning via IP. It does correctly log the IPv6 ip though which is good. Hopefully in 1.8 they'll actually make it compatible but I kind of doubt they will.
Sorry guys...no IPv6 just yet. But if it became an emergency I could probable make fully adjustments within a day. If I had to.
Just wait a couple more months dude... i plan to switch aswell. It is too early imo.

Okay.
I ended up getting more information (such as IPv6 bugs in MyBB) from Omni so I'm glad I posted here...
