Virtual Credit Cards (VCC), Prepaid Credit Cards, Gift Cards and Virtual Bank Accounts (VBA)
We understand that there might be a valid purpose and use for these discussions, but we've decided to remove them from HF in an effort to stay on a more legitimate topic level.
The above statement is taken from the disallowed blackhat activity section of the help documents. I would like clarification on the gift card part. I see people selling the following:
Netflix codes
Xbox codes
Hulu codes
Skype codes
Now yes, these are all CODES, not cards, but some of those actually come on the back of a gift CARD. I would like to sell some items, but I don't know if I will be banned or not because of this. The items I want to sell are:
Amazon CODES
Steam CODES
So, how does this work?
Edit: All of the CODES I would be selling are legally, legitimately obtained.

I am pretty sure a new policy is being made about them.
Allowed:
Xbox codes
Skype codes
Not allowed:
Netflix codes
Amazon CODES
Steam CODES

The only type of gift cards allowed are: Xbox, PSN, and Skype (vouchers). Everything else to my knowledge is disallowed. (There may be a few exceptions, such as the LoL skins mentioned below, but not many).
What about LoL skin codes? allowed or disallowed?

Some codes are allowed because they are easily obtained, for example at one point Skype gave out free premium codes. Therefore they were obtained legitimately.

They are just exceptions to the rules. There may eventually be a policy change, but for now they are allowed.

Legally obtained or not, if they are disallowed, they are not allowed here.
