Simple ways to infect someone?

With a keylogger, I'm fairly new to all of this. I figured if you send them the file and told them to scan it with an anti virus that would work, tell them the file is a e-book or something of the likes.

Be careful of this method as it may raise suspicion when the eBook .exe doesn't do anything. The absolute best method would be with physical access to the computer. However, that's rarely feasible. I would consider binding your keylogger with another exe that gets ran in the background while the "real" executable is visible to the user. There are endless options on how to spread it without physical access.
Are you looking to infect a specific person, or just want to infect as many random people as you can?

Specific person through Skype to hack their online game account and get back the items they scammed from me. What would be the best way?

It depends, but all of the methods will involve social engineering. Try and convince them to open the file, I'm sure you can figure it out.

Well, bind a file to another program, and claim you "made it". That usually works for me. Make it something like a bomber, skype tool, fake ddoser, or whatever.

Easier to do that than just have them open it, basically find out. Ha
Just bind it with a custom made "fake" program and claim that it unlocks new items automagically
